At T & K Support Services, not all impact happens on the frontline - some of the most important work happens behind the scenes. Georgia plays a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly, supporting both staff and participants through her work in accounts and payroll.
Part of the Journey from the Beginning
Georgia has been part of the journey since the early days, back when T & K operated as Universal Support.
“I really connected with everything T & K stood for,” she shares. “Especially the commitment to supporting people whenever they are in need.”
Being part of that growth has given Georgia a strong connection to the organisation and its purpose.
Supporting Impact from Behind the Scenes
While Georgia’s role isn’t participant-facing, she sees the impact every day.
“I love seeing the positive impact our staff and the business have on participants’ lives.”
Her focus is on ensuring processes run efficiently and effectively, helping create a strong foundation so staff can deliver the best possible care.
“I want to support our staff so they can provide the best possible care to participants.”
Experience and Strengths
Before joining the NDIS sector, Georgia worked in the healthcare system as a hospital receptionist. It was there she discovered an interest in accounts and payroll, gradually building her skills and transitioning into the role she holds today.
She brings:
Strong organisational skills
Attention to detail
A people-focused approach
The ability to build positive connections within the team
“I enjoy building connections with people,” she says, “and creating a supportive work environment.”
Life Outside of Work
Georgia is a proud mum to her two-year-old daughter and enjoys spending her time with her family.
Weekends are all about:
Family time and little adventures
Getting out and about
Enjoying an iced latte along the way
She also enjoys going to the gym and catching up with friends.
Her favourites?
Italian cuisine
Almond croissants (a must!)
Iced lattes - non-negotiable
“Honestly, I get a headache without coffee,” she laughs.
Values That Guide Her Work
Kindness, respect, and understanding are at the centre of how Georgia approaches both her work and her interactions with others.
“I believe in treating everyone equally and remembering that everyone has their own circumstances and experiences.”
To her, community inclusion means helping participants feel supported, valued, and empowered to make their own choices - with the goal of living as independently as possible.
One of the biggest lessons she’s learned?
“Not to judge a book by its cover. Everyone has their own story.”
Looking Ahead
Georgia is excited to continue being part of T & K’s growth journey and watching the organisation evolve.
With her calm, organised approach and genuine care for the people around her, Georgia plays a vital role in keeping T & K running - ensuring both staff and participants are supported every step of the way. 💛
